2014年8月30日托福考试独立写作预测，以下是往年考试的托福独立写作旧题，供同学们参考练习。
1.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: The friends that you can have fun with are more important than the friends that you can get help from?
have fun比较好写功能，套下万用理由：have fun—activities—other people---explore your social networkhave fun---缓解学习，工作压力---保持好心情好状态去工作，学习；第三段可让步写get help的好处也可以继续have fun的功能。
2.Do you agree or disagree: when teachers assign projects on which students must work together, students will learn much more effectively than ask them to do alone.
1）.agree比较好写，但是如果只写集体工作的好处，容易有些偏，注意条件是effectively
2）.effective涉及到工作时间短，工作结果多，好。
3）.together---人多---分工解决复杂问题---时间短；together---讨论---意见分享---解决难的问题比较容易---工作成果好；together---互相监督，指正错误---工作出错概率低
3.If one of your friends needs assistance in a one of the courses you are good at, it is better for him to turn to you for help or ask for a tutor?
1）.限定条件是better，所以先具体定义这个限定条件，怎么样叫做学习的更加好
2）.如：节省时间，交流更方便，随时能达到沟通，讲解更准确，省钱，老师了解学生比较会容易应材施教等
3）.贴上去。如：选择you朋友之间沟通方便，能随时随地问，讲解；朋友省钱；朋友了解你，应材施教。选择tutor讲解准确无误；讲解比较到位，不会浪费时间，不容易像朋友那样存在distract你的可能；
4.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? The most important investment for a company is to spend money to improve the work skills of its employees. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
1）.注意有most，所以直接写提升员工work skills的好处是不对的。
2）.举例说明还有ABC也重要即可
3）.细分下，形成或者改善企业文化---大家团结---企业忠诚度高---减少员工流失；规范管理---提高工作效率---降低成本；专注市场调研---了解市场动向---及时应对变化---在竞争中胜出
5.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to wait in patience than take action? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
1）.等待的好处：避免冲动行为—造成错误结果；更好的机会---更好的回报；让步
2）.行动的好处：不会浪费时机，错过XX；主动积极---更好的控制，掌握；让步

7.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Automobile has had greater effects on society than airplanes Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
1）.条件在greater effects on society，先定义是影响大的标准：应用广泛，应用时间长，产能高。如：汽车—拥有者更多---各行业和人群都需要---影响大；汽车---已经使用的时间多于飞机---按照历史角度来看对人类帮助更大---影响大；
2）.也可以按照细分领域来破题：对人来说---乘客数量汽车大；对事来说---汽车更广泛应用于商务和日常生活，特别是对个体来说汽车更多使用时间；
8.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Famous entertainers and athletes deserve to have more privacy than they have now. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Famous E&A也是人，需要基本人权（例子可以用不被偷拍，不被跟踪，不被恶意诽谤）---现在没有—所以需要；Famous E&A的家人需要得到保护---现在没有，经常受到骚扰---所以需要；Famous E&A是否得到隐私和尊重---体现社会文明，人口素质---现在这块不行，所以要加强
9.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is much easier to achieve success with help from one's family nowadays than before. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
1）.题目看清，是现在过去比较，不是是否从家里获得帮助。
2）.成功需要什么元素先定义：资本，人脉，专业技能（即教育背景），社会制度，社会发展阶段等
3）.agree比较好写：过去大家普遍穷，现在资本多---更能提供资金---保证事业起步；社会发展进步---商机多，大环境好---更容易成功；过去受工具和网络限制，联系不方便---现在人脉更容易促成，所以现在家庭更能提供人脉支持---促进事业发展和壮大
10.Some jobs can pay high salaries but require employees to leave their family and friends. Some jobs pay few salaries but allow employees staying with family and friend. Which job do you prefer? Why?
1）.不要出于人性的光辉，去选择难写的family。我选择high salaries
2）.salaries高的好处，很多。。不列举了。。。其中有一条不错：保证家人过的好。
11.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People who cannot accept the criticism from others will not be successful at working in a group. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
1）.只写accepting criticism的好处，可能会偏。注意条件：be successful at working in a group
2）.先定义什么叫be successful at…，具体表现为：自身成长；工作结果正确，高质量；工作环境氛围好，也就是团队团结。
3）.accept---share, tell, learn---improve每个人自身---团队成长；accept---纠错---解答疑难---better result；accept---不会产生不必要的对抗和冲突（也就是组织内耗）---氛围好---团结
12.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Your job has more effect on your happiness than your social life does. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
1）.先定义如何实现happy，换言之，happy的具体表现
2）.如：朋友多就happy，家庭幸福就happy，娱乐多就happy；物质条件好就好happy，工作成就感高就happy等。
3）.然后一一对应写就是了
13.Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: It is impossible to be completely honest with your friend.
1）.如果disagree，举例说明什么情况下是完全honest的。于是你发现这样不行。
2）.前面讲过否定词出现选disagree，但是这里多了completely，类似双重否定之后得出肯定。
3）.agree举例说明什么情况需要lie，如white lie，去探望弥留之际的亲友，“亲，跟你说实话吧，你快死了”or“亲，你今天看起来气色不错”。
