一、1月6日雅思听力考情

烤鸭们大家好呀~

2024场考试结束啦,考试的人不多,但是去考试了的同学据说也是炸得体无完肤~填空题多个no more than,P3三个五选二,甚至还出现了流程图!!!那么就来跟随小航的脚步,一起看看到底是怎么个事儿吧~

整体难度

听力整体难度:正常

1. 三旧题,20填空+20选择;

2. 语速较快,话题难度一般;

3. P3P4 较难,有流程图;填空题答案词可以写两个词。

备考建议

1. 在做题精听的过程中大量积累同义改写,以应对题干选项的替换;

2. 大家平时依然注重场景词汇高频词汇的积累,考前建议背诵近几年的机经词汇完成后的查漏补缺;

3. 精听练习每天保持30分钟以内shadowing练习,跟上长难文本内容;

P1点评: 

1. 此次Part1为旧题,属于健康大类,但是内部考察点比较基础,涉及到专有名词、日期和地址。

其中涉及到17和70的辨音,参考剑雅541

2. 答案词部分citizen注意拼写,full-time要注意中间的连字符【思考什么时候要加连字符什么时候不加】。

1. 此次part2部分为新题,匹配题为比较常规的【题干稳定、选项不稳定】的类型。

2. 题干中有比较多确定听音重心以及预判干扰的方法,比如逻辑词、极值词等。在听音的过程中要尽量利用这些内容去对应答案句或者躲避干扰。

1. 本次P3为旧题,话题为前半年爱考的艺术场景,另外涉及到师生讨论,注意区分【给答案的对象】。

2. 选项偏长,平时练习时要注意挑选选项中的重要内容先行记录,另外不管怎么样问题是要审完的哦。

1. 此次Part4部分为旧题,属于工业/环境类话题。在2021.1.21考察过。

2. 前半部分为流程图填空,属于小众题型。可以参考新航道《胡敏雅思教材第八代——雅思听力》p22

3. mould、elastic和tyre为小众词汇,且自然拼读不是很方便。

4. machinery如果自然拼读的话容易把e写成a,可以进一步积累其词变machine

5. 注意单复数,本次很多词都是复数哦,检查的时候可以多关注下可数名词单数的答案。

二、1月6日雅思阅读考情

新年的钟声一周前刚刚敲响,在上一年惨遭雅思折磨的小伙伴们大喊“这次我一定要拿回失去的全部”,于是踌躇满志走上考场,期待新一年的雅思也带来全新气象。翻开卷了然,填空判断加匹配,题型搭配很常规,选择在后也不怕,至少heading没叠加;可怎么做起题来心茫然,第二篇一篇更比一篇长,看不完真的看不完啊!一小时里痛苦挣扎,交完卷扶额苦笑,雅思阅读,真有你的,还是一如既往地难。那我们就一起来看看今天的阅读考试回顾吧。

Passage 1:关于一个叫Tull的人发明农耕机器的经历

类别:人文文化科普

题型配比:填空题+判断题

分析:

开篇文章总是尽心尽力为大家搞科普,今天就带大家来了解Jethro·Tull发明农耕播种机的故事。这类文章通常会交代一下发明者的个人信息,如教育背景、职业之类,穿插描述所发明物品的基础原理及使用介绍,后记录其影响。本篇在题型搭配上保持了大家熟悉的填空题+判断题,但填空部分形式比较丰富,不仅有图表题,还有简答题,但其核心不变,所以大家在篇尽量要保持较高准确率哦~

阅读材料:

A farmer, writer, and inventor, Jethro Tull was an instrumental figure in English agriculture, pushing to improve age-old agrarian practices by applying science and technology. 

Early Life

Born in 1674 to well-to-do parents, Tull grew up on the family’s Oxfordshire estate. After withdrawing from St. John’s College in Oxford, he moved to London, where he studied the pipe organ before becoming a law student. In 1699, Tull qualified as a barrister, toured Europe, and got married. 

Relocating with his bride to the family farm, Tull eschewed law to work the land. Inspired by agrarian practices he saw in Europe — including pulverized soil around evenly spaced plants — Tull was determined to experiment at home. 

The Seed Drill

Jethro Tull invented the seed drill in 1701 as a way to plant more efficiently. Prior to his invention, sowing seeds was done by hand, by scattering them on the ground or placing them in the ground individually, such as with bean and pea seeds. Tull considered scattering wasteful because many seeds did not take root.

His finished seed drill included a hopper to store the seed, a cylinder to move it, and a funnel to direct it. A plow at the front created the row, and a harrow at the back covered the seed with soil. It was the first agricultural machine with moving parts. It started as a one-man, one-row device, but later designs sowed seeds in three uniform rows, had wheels and were drawn by horses. Using wider spacing than previous practices allowed horses to draw the equipment and not step on the plants.

翻页的手看到第二篇的匹配组合本来就烦,建筑类文章更是让大家一个脑袋两个大,看不完真的看不完,第二篇怎么这么难这么难。建筑类文章已是雅思老相好,12月30日、12月9日第二篇文章都是建筑类话题,小航就“啰嗦啰嗦”,再跟大家谈一谈建筑类话题文章。从主题来看,历史建筑、现代建筑都会涉及,但谈到历史建筑时会更倾向于描述其风格、用途、文化背景,而谈到现代建筑时则有意突出其创新技术、可持续发展相关内容;建筑材料如混凝土、钢铁、玻璃等描述也是可能遇到的话题,此外,建筑与社会、环境之间的关系也会成为文章探讨的主题。大家可结合剑18 Test 3 Passage 1 Materials to take us beyond concrete, 剑17 Test 1 Passage 1 The development of the London underground railway, Passage 2 Staduims: past, present and future  进行建筑类话题文章练习。

好不容易在12月30日送走害人不浅的猴子,今天的第三篇又看到了动物类话题,长叹息以掩涕兮,让我们来会会这又讲的哪一出动物。澳大利亚也是老话题中心了,23年11月4日才考过澳大利亚原住民艺术,今儿个又给大家唠起了澳大利亚的动物,敲重点啦敲重点啦:澳大利亚相关话题,大家在平时练习和阅读过程中可以多多关注哟,万一哪天在考场上就又遇到了呢~本篇文章围绕澳大利亚灭绝的动物展开,搭配选择题、句子匹配题、判断题,从细节上对大家狠狠考察。由于受第二篇文章阅读影响,不少小伙伴反映第三篇囫囵看过去了,匆匆忙忙勉勉强强完成了题目,小航在此再次温馨提醒,要问一分钟有多长,得看考场上还是考场下,考场上每一分钟都很重要,所以大家一定要合理安排作答时间,尽量保证第三篇文章也能做完~

三、1月6日雅思写作考情

小作文

The table below shows the production of milk annually in four countries in 1990, 2000 and 2010.

本次小作文考察的是动态图(表格),图中比较了Netherlands, Australia,Tanzania,Guatemala四个国家在三个不同年份的牛奶产量。可以看到尽管多数国家的产量都呈上升趋势,总产量仍然有所下降。同时,Netherlands与 Australia两个国家三十年间的牛奶产量明显高于另外两个国家,因此,分段可以数据较大的两个国家一组,数据较小的两个国家一组。整体来看本次小作文难度不大。

大作文

Some people believe children should have organized activities in their free time. Others believe children should decide what to do in their free time on their own. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

本次大作文考察的是教育类双边讨论话题。这道题的关键在于题干中的两个views并不是对立的,在很多情况下,孩子在空闲时间既可以参加organized activities,也可以自由安排,二者其实是可以兼容的,因此写作结构上两个主体段分别提出相应的分论点,并展开论证,结尾段重申个人观点即可。整体来看难度不大。

Paragraph 1 - Introduction - 引入话题 + 个人观点陈述

People have differing views about how much choice children should have with regard to what they can do in their spare time. Some argue that children should engage in scheduled activities, while others believe that they can make their own decisions. My view is that these two views, in many cases, are not mutually exclusive.

Paragraph 2 - Body 1 – View 1 – Children are supposed to participate in organized programs in their leisure time

Argument 1: 参加organized activities可以让孩子拥有高质量的自由时间

Supporting Evidence: 家长通常会为孩子安排一些有意义的活动,比如要求孩子参加兴趣班,after-school tutoring classes或者voluntary work等,这些活动能够help them take up hobbies, enhance academic performance and develop a sense of responsibility。(对比论证)如果不为孩子安排特定的活动,放任他们自由安排,许多孩子由于缺乏self-discipline and time-managing abilities,他们更愿意stay in their comfort zone and are obsessed with activities like video games and TV viewing,因此荒废自由时间。

Paragraph 3 – Body 2 – View 2 – Children should be allowed to allocate their free time by themselves

Argument 1: 孩子自由安排空闲时间能够foster independence and exercise their decision-making skills

Supporting Evidence: 作为独立的个体,they will always take the first step towards making their own decisions。因此,if they have the freedom to determine how to spend their leisure time in an early age,不仅能够学习如何安排自己的空余时间,decrease reliance on others,对于他们after growing up做其他的决策也会有所助益。

Argument 2: 给予孩子自由有助于facilitate the establishment of a harmonious parent-child relationship

Supporting Evidence: 允许他们自由安排时间is a testament to parents’ respect for kids and trust in their children’s ability to well organize free time,这样可以避免孩子变得叛逆rebellious,thus creating a good family atmosphere。

Paragraph 4 – Conclusion - 重申个人观点

In conclusion, it is vital to arrange activities for kids to spend their free time, 同时giving them freedom也很重要。
