Some people think that instead of preventing climate change,we need to find a way to live with it.Do you agree or disagree?

1.气候变化并不完全是人类活动所导致，还因为某些不可控的自然原因。

Undeniably,it is anthropogenic(adj.人为的)activities that are to blame for climate change in some circumstances,but there are a variety of other inevitable(adj.不可避免的)and irreversible(adj.不可逆的)factors,that are partly responsible for the shifting weather patterns(描述气候变化的说法),such as variations in solar radiations(太阳辐射)and continental drift(大陆漂移).These are natural processes within the climate system itself,forces beyond our control,making it difficult and even impossible to take any precautionary measures(采取任何预防措施)against climate change.Therefore,we have no alternative but to tolerate it and make corresponding adaptations.

2.对于一些欠发达国家来说，发展经济可能要以牺牲环境为代价，二者不可兼得，所以人们只能被动接受气候变化的事实。

For some underdeveloped countries(欠发达国家),when trying to develop their national economy,they are likely to be faced with many challenges like the excessive exploitation(对...的过度开采)of natural resources and environmental degradation(环境恶化).Despite the disastrous consequences for the climate,they are unable to reverse the worrying trend due to their technological limitations and financial pressures.

1.对于一些人为原因造成的气候变化，咱们可以采取有效的行动，缓解现状。

Due to the fact that human activities are a major contributing factor(说...是一个主要因素的说法)，practical actions can be taken to deal with the causes of climate change so as to improve the current situation and prepare for the future,One possible approach is to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases(减少温室气体的排放)through the concerted efforts（齐心协力）of households,businesses and governments at all levels.As for individuals,they are encouraged to develop a low-carbon lifestyle(养成低碳的生活方式)simply by reducing waste,decreasing the use of private cars and taking public transport instead.

Also,relevant policies need to be implemented to boost energy productivity,develop new technologies and explore renewable resources.International organizations also play an important role in(有很重要的作用)the battle against climate change.The United Nations Environment Programme(UNEP联合国环境规划署),for example,takes a multifaceted(adj.多层面的)approach to climate change mitigation.

2.如果我们静观其变，那气候变化会导致难以想象的损失和后果，所以我们不能无动于衷，放任不管。

It is undeniable that,if we just turn a blind eye to it,climate change will cause unimaginably(adv.难以想像地)catastrophic losses(灾难性损失)and have repercussions that transcend generations.There is alarming evidence that（有确凿的证据显示...）climate change poses potential threats(对...构成威胁)to economic growth,food production,humans'health and safety,among other things.The most terrifying climate change,however,may still be prevented and even reversed,if we make some changes like transforming our hydrocarbon-based energy systems(改变我们的碳氢化合物能源系统),or initiating adaptation and mitigation programmes（缓解计划）to forestall（v.预先阻止）disasters at unprecedented scales.
