The topic reminds me one of the most unforgettable experiences that I had.It was my 17th birthday.I had a party together with my friends and relatives.We had a wonderful night in the suburb of my city and set up bonfires there.After that,we just lay on the grasslands and watched the sky with no horizon in sight.
It was a transparent night with thousands of stars sparkling in the dark blue sky.There had a few thousand individual stars,which could be observed by naked eyes.We were seeing several superb star clusters and other amazing celestial bodies,including the bright moon.My uncle Jack guided us to identify the constellations,and we became more familiar with Sagittarius,Lion and so on.In the eastern sky,we saw a brightest star glittering like an icy blue diamond.It's an indescribable sight.More surprisingly,we've witnessed several flashing stars,which made the birthday even more memorable.I've quickly made my wish at the moment I saw them.Well,at that time,my dream was to be accepted by a top university after my high school graduation.Actually my dream did come true after a year.I felt quite satisfied with a birthday like that one and it left a lasting impression on me.

Personally speaking,I won't take much notice of the sky unless I am in a good mood and the weather is lovely,which can't be seen frequently in some cities in China nowadays.People all know that mega cities in China,like Beijing,have been suffering from heavy air pollution for several years now.We haven't been able to enjoy blue skies these year.I can recall a miserable experience.Last summer,when I was at the airport in Beijing with my friends and was about to leave for Thailand,the day got dark and suddenly it started raining.Actually,it was pouring and it didn't seem to want to stop.The sky was overcast,which made me feel so down.After a while,we heard an announcement that the flight was going to be delayed.What a shock!
I felt so disappointed and frustrated,standing by the window at the terminal without any ideas to cope with the unexpected.
